Die Borkumer Inselbahn verbindet den Hafen
mit dem Inselzentrum. Die Fahrt der 7,5 Kilometer ist hier auf 3 Minuten
zusammen geschnitten. Zu hören ist die Abfahrt, das Knarren und Quietschen der
Waggons und Räder, das Schlagen einer Tür und das Ende der Fahrt mit dem
langsamen Ausrollen des Zuges am Fährhafen.
In this recording you can hear the noise of a
small train, which connects the port of the island of Borkum with the center of
the island. This 7.5 kilometers trip is condensed to 3 minutes. You can hear the
departure of the train, the railroad cars and wheels, the banging of a door, and
the end of the trip at the port of the island of Borkum.
